From what was a big open room, we see walls going up inside the old Harry Miller Flowers.
And thanks to our friends in Rochester for some outdoor renovation they did!

Thanks to Central Michigan University's Chi Alpha group that recently came to help with renovation projects!

Needs this week...
The Dearborn Revitalization Project is looking for contractors in plumbing, electrical and HVAC this week. Let us know if you can help!
Detroit Free Press 5K
A small group from the church participated in the Detroit Free Press 5K Run/Walk. We walked. [smile] We raised about $1,000 for the revitalization project, too!
And there's still time to make a donation to our 5K Walk efforts. Let us know if you'd like to contribute and we'll reach out to you. Thanks!

Who We Are
Dearborn Assembly of God, with the help of the Assemblies of God, has invested in two buildings in the center of Dearborn, Mich.
The Assemblies of God vision for a permanent building to train missionaries began in 1987 when Michigan Missions Director Dave Pace and an Assemblies of God Arab pastor Victor Khalil were looking for property to buy. Trey Hancock and John Koski were in Dearborn in 1987 for a short-term missions trip and contributed some money toward this project. Now over two decades later the dream is becoming a reality.
In 2000 Dearborn Assembly was birthed, meeting as a house church with the specific purpose of reaching out to the ethnic community of Dearborn. In 2009 Dearborn Assembly of God made a purchase agreement on the Harry Miller Flowers buildings. The office/storage building has 10,500 square feet and the ministry center has 7,500 square feet.
The location is ideal for visibility because it is located on Michigan Avenue — the “main street” going through Dearborn with over 30,000 Arab Muslim residents. The flower shop will be the worship and outreach center and the green house will be converted into a coffee house with a full commercial kitchen.
The needs are great! We desire your help. We need volunteer workers to be able to save in labor costs. We need money to buy building materials for the renovation. We need prayer for God's wisdom in completing this project.
It will take a significant investment to finish what the Lord has placed in our hearts to do!
