A Running Miracle

Wow! The last couple of weeks have been such an encouragement. We have seen the gracious hand of God in protection, power and provision. It has done nothing but encourage our hearts that this is God's project.

Precious friends have come to help from all over the states....

Life Challenge

Michigan: Bro. Dick from Bad Axe has worked tirelessly on the electricity since the first part of October. Bros. Bud, Larry and Elmer (MAPS RVers) have driven in each day to work alongside, doing electricity and framing. Bro. John has been a constant hard worker almost since Day 1, digging out the trenches to lay the plumbing lines and cleaning out the old wiring.

Rochester First Assembly comes every week. Northville Christian, Dearborn Heights FairHaven, Beaver Lake Community-- and the list goes on...

North Carolina: Bro. David and Miss Kay were such a blessing. Focusing on the sheet rock (drywall for Yankees), encouraging other workers and staying with Becky while Trey traveled for the month of November. Talk about a Barnabas spirit. What encouragers!!!

Colorado: WOW! God provided! This awesome team of five drove 24 hours straight through into a challenge and a miracle. These guys are professional HVAC men, and Pastor JJ. As they drove here, the HVAC units were still not delivered AND the duct work was not even configured. They came with a bit of hesitancy. But with God--what an awesome conjunction!!!

They arrived on Sunday around 8 a.m. Monday the HVAC units were delivered to the rooftop, right after the new asphalt was down. Then on Tuesday room-fulls of duct work was delivered. They worked tirelessly!

The neatest miracle came when they had to cut through a big beam to place the duct work. Bro. Mike had come on the trip but didn't really have HVAC experience since he was in the ironworkers union. Six months ago he had been critically ill and lost his memory but God was restoring him. It just so happened that since they needed to go through the big beam, they needed a welder and iron cutter. He was vitally needed on this trip with the exact skills that he had. God knew!

Pennsylvania: The team of brothers from Philadelphia drove all Wednesday night, arrived at 3 a.m. and started working on Thursday at 8 a.m. Working late into the nights, they plowed through the drywall, along with Bro. David.

This has been such a humbling experience. These brothers and sisters have sacrificed their time and tireless energy. We see the Body of Christ working together.

God has also shown miraculous provision through the Body. One church in Illinois that is about 30 percent special needs brothers and sisters lifted an offering of $2,000. One church in Colorado sent $5,000. Another church that came to help brought a check for $2,000 and while they were here, the pastor mentioned that another $1,000 was dropped off at their church and that they would mail it in. Another church in Colorado called and reported that they had sent some money to another mission project but that project had been canceled, so they felt led by the Lord to send the money to help here.

December 15, the deadline, is drawing closer. Please pray for the Lord's provision, protection, and power to continue.

This is THE DEAL!!! God really wants to move on the hearts of the precious people in Dearborn, Michigan. He is preparing the place! He is preparing hearts! As we, the body of Christ, continue to walk in obedience and faith he is positioning circumstances for a great harvest!! We are in the middle of a miracle!
